I'm a conservative Christian teacher working extremely hard in the public school environment to help inner city teens turn away from dependency upon the government - and to help them make moral, ethical choices in their lives. I just counted (probably counted incorrectly), but somewhere around 19 instances listed here spanning something like 7 years in time.

I recognize that there is evil in the world - and in the public school systems - and there is also just plain stupidity as well. But there are approximately 7,200,000 public school teachers in the U.S. EACH year. The actual incidence of duct-taping is statistically insignificant. This does not mean that it is acceptable, nor does it mean that it should not be decried. However, it is inflammatory to call out instances like this and paint all of public schools as wicked places. Bad things can (and do) happen in Christian schools, too.

I've seen some pretty awful teachers out there...everything from incompetent to lazy to actionable, and I've watched unions protect teachers that have no right to be in the classroom. But I've also seen amazing public school educators who are effective, peaceful, kind, and filled with the Holy Spirit.

My own 3 children went to public schools because my husband and I could not afford to send them to private schools (although to be fair, we did home school them through Middle School and they went half day to high school half day with me) - and all 3 of my children (age 18, 20, and 22) are God-loving people who are striving to make a positive difference in this world.

It is easy to advocate a "mass Exodus" from public education - but it is hardly practical. I do believe in vouchers. I believe in charter schools, and home schooling, and school choice - and I believe that ALL children deserve to have an education that is safe and moral. I work from within "the system" to try to bring this into being. I think that flagrant hyperbole, however, does not help the cause. I believe that it just makes normal, reasonable people take a step back and wonder at the sanity of "radical Christians." Jesus reached out to sinners and did not recommend that the Jews separate themselves entirely from "the rest of the pack." He did not suggest a mass exodus and isolationism. Yes, we are to have discernment, and there is no way I'd allow my child to be taught certain things in a public classroom, and yes, we need to be a solid voting block for Wisdom and Fruits of the Spirit values - but I cannot agree with pulling Christian children out of public school as "the" solution to the problem. Surely there must be other sane and rational ways to solve it!

Hello!
Our family just viewed your film the other night. What an incredible message! We loved it and thank you for having the courage to produce such a movie that tells the truth so many are not aware of!
My question to you is this: I agree that public schools are a horror and of all you spoke of in the film Indoctrination. What about colleges? Aren't they made up of much the same?? I cannot possibly think that sending our children into the halls of secular humanist domain and halls acadamia could be any better at all. (Not to mention all the temptations along the way) Is anyone going to delve into this topic that you know of? I would love to learn more about this and what others know and would be willing to expose as well. So many just send their children as if they have no other option, like sheep going to slaughter, or cattle being branded and herded into a pen. Where are those who will speak out against the false teaching and other issues taking place in a many colleges today. I know our children are older, and hopefully wiser, by the time they reach this stage, but should we blindly send them off as if we have no other choice? So many of us have been told that our children cannot get a job without a degree of some kind. Is this also a lie of the enemy?
Thank you again and again for your boldness to speak the truth and may God bless you abundantly for doing so!
In Christ,
Lydia Hoppman

Great DVD! Truly informative, interesting to watch, biblical, and convicting! A rare resource and excellent call to all parents to reclaim and renew their God-given responsibility in training their children in the fear and truth of the Lord Jesus Christ. After being a Christian school teacher for over a decade, I must sadly say I can see the same complacent attitude that has fallen upon many Christians in turning over their children to the government schools of post-modern America now reflected in those sending their children to Christian schools. Even those is home schooling can fall victim to a dependence upon the popular curricula and modern methods, checking their biblical discernment at the door. I do not believe that those seeking to keep the hearts and minds of children in darkness are really that worried about current private and home schools. They know that many of these institutions have adopted the same methodologies and philosophies of their secular humanist counterparts, namely the “public” school system. The grassroots popularity and advent of 21st Century technologies have been both a blessing and perhaps a curse to the home school movement. May we never stop being Bereans, checking all curriculum materials and methods against the Word of God. I, for one do not want to get to Heaven some day, believing I can claim ignorance or laziness. (Hosea 4:6) “Sanctify them by Thy Word. Thy Word is Truth.” John 17:17

I have just viewed IndoctriNation this week. It is one of the most powerful documentaries out there exposing the true anti-Christ nature of the public school system, a system that has been anti-Christ since day one! Those who take the naive approach that we just need to get the public schools back to the "good old days" do not grasp the true history of those schools. The public school system as we now have it in this country was founded by Unitarians like Horace Mann, who denied the Trinity, and socialists like Robert Owen who were basically atheists. IndoctriNation goes into this history which most Christians are blissfully ignorant of when they should be aware of it.

Christians need to wake up and get their kids out of these propaganda factories.

Terrific film! I consider myself somewhere in the zealot range when it comes to getting Christian kids out of public schools. IndoctriNation put more fuel in my tank to keep going. I'll certainly watch it again along with the the rest of the Back Stage Pass material. Thanks

Just shared on FaceBook.
My husband and I have homeschooled for 28 years.
Throughout the years we have, pleaded, warned, shared with friends
the dangers of the PS and we will continue to do so.
This movie sounds like it'll be another weapon in our arsenal. :-)
Looking forward to watching it.
In Christ, Donna
